Colorado State freshman Lauren Gale won the women's 400-meter title in 53.18 seconds, contributed to victory in the 4x100-meter relay in 44.12 seconds and anchored a third-place 4x400-meter relay to a 3:42.61 effort at the Mountain West Conference Outdoor Championships at Buchanan High's Veterans Memorial Stadium in Clovis, Calif. Gale also clocked 52.68 seconds in the 400-meter prelims.
