Wyoming senior Ja'la Henderson repeated as women's triple jump champion with a fifth-round leap of 42-7.50 (12.99m) at the Mountain West Conference Outdoor Championships at Buchanan High's Veterans Memorial Stadium in Clovis, Calif. Henderson, who became the first Wyoming female athlete to repeat in any jumping event at the outdoor conference final, also placed second in the long jump 20-6.50 (6.26m) and contributed to a runner-up finish in the 4x100-meter relay in 44.86 seconds and seventh-place finish in the 4x400-meter relay in 3:47.30.
