Colorado State freshman Germain Barnes won the men's 400-meter hurdles title in 52.30 seconds at the Mountain West Conference Outdoor Championships at Buchanan High's Veterans Memorial Stadium in Clovis, Calif. Barnes also contributed to a second-place finish in the 4x400-meter relay in 3:16.19, along with taking seventh in the 110-meter hurdles final in 14.86 seconds.
