Eric Hamer, a senior at Colorado State, completed the sweep of the 5,000-meter and 10,000-meter titles at the Mountain West Conference Outdoor Championships at Veterans Memorial Stadium at Buchanan High in Clovis, Calif. Hamer clocked 13:46.67 and 29:40.25 to become the first male athlete since Luke Caldwell of New Mexico in 2014 to win both championships in the same year, helping the Rams capture the team title with 206 points, defending their crown from 2019.
